The Royal Blue Clx Pavilion- Ricky J. Calixto

The Creation

This Project had a journey through the rough seas and sunk to the bottom at a point. But after focusing on what made me happy I decided to absorb ideas from others, our surroundings, and also through the concept of untangling hair, Aztec temples, and symmetry of lines.

Before

This is an image of the work before the new design was created. "A clutter"

"Catenary Structure"

While this image is the New Design of our Pavilion, this is our hard work and struggles on thin fragile tensioned string. A model adapted by royal crowns and how the man who wears it shows authority and could create vast wonders or destroy them at any given time...

Wooden Model

By far one of the greatest challenges of my life was trying to get every angle precise and using small portions of glue to make something grand and sturdy. A unique interior and exterior for the people of the city to vast in wonder and amazement.

Site Plan
I decided to do my sketches on 5th Ave West 26th St through the corner entrance heading towards the fountain.

Final Presentation Board
I have reached the conclusion of this project but never shall I think that nothing else can be added or removed to make something even greater, for you see, as a wise man once said, "Life is much broader once you realize one simple fact...and that is that everything around you was created by man no smarter...than you." -Steve Jobs.
